Denver, CO On Location Meet-Up

Black Female Landscape and Nature Photographers will be hosting its 2nd Annual On Location Meet-Up in Denver Colorado. Colorado is one of America’s most beautiful States, and with its exquisite natural landscapes there will be plenty to photograph. We will be photographing the iconic Rocky Mountains, Beautiful Waterfalls, Impressive Rock Formations, capturing the beautiful night sky with Astro-photography, and photographing Cityscapes in Denver.

Dates: September 15 – 18, 2022 (3 Full Days)

Itinerary:

  • Rocky Mountain National Park

  • Waterfall Hunting

  • Mount Evans and its Scenic By-way

  • Explore Denver for Sunrise, Sunset and Cityscape Photography

Price:

The price of the On-Location Meetup is FREE. However, all attendees are responsible for their OWN transportation to and from Denver, to the various locations annotated on the itinerary, hotel room, National Park fees, and food and beverages.

Physical Abilities / Skill Level:

There will be early morning wakes-ups and late night hotel returns. We expect to depart for sunrise between 3:30 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. Portions of this event will include hiking (furthest hike is approximately 5 miles round trip and approximately 700 feet of elevation gain), and standing for long periods of time. This On-Location Meetup requires attendees to be physically capable of hiking such distances while carrying their photography gear. Denver is located 5,280 feet (One Mile High) above sea level. Attendees from lower elevations often under-estimate the effects of altitudes on their health and physical abilities. With high altitude living, the body gradually acclimates to the lower air pressure and decreased oxygen. If any location or activity is out of your comfort zone, you are free to opt out of any activity.
